For those of you, like me, who find it impossible to watch tv in the middle of the day and equally impossible to bring yourself to purchase TIVO, good news:
Oprah has the Cormac McCarthy interview video on her website. You have to join the bookclub to see it, but that only takes a second and besides, you could be a lot worse things in life than a member of Oprah's bookclub. Watch it. It's a real treat!

What a great interview with an awesome author. My early writing has been compared to McCarthy...which was always a boost because I've always admired his muscular writing.
I just found a new addiction: DVR. I signed up for digital cable, and Comcast (our cable company) is giving away free DVR's with each upgrade. I highly recommend it! I can record shows I've been missing because I go to bed so dang early.
Wow, now that's a compliment! :-P
We've actually cut our cable back to basic, since we don't watch anything but the Dog Whisperer and House...lol. But, I'm sure down the road we'll do something like that. I bet you can fast forward the commercials, too, right? Bonus.
